Mission and objectives
Along with his superviser:
- Establishes and validates the technical lines (concepts, integrarea arhitecturală)
- Prioritizes the working hypothesis and the technical lines based on various criteria (supplier panel, costs, architecture, industrial feasibility, geographical feasibility and so on). He/she realizes the studies needed for setting up the technical policies.
- Establishes the rules (for the designing process, validations, tests, quotas, plans content, the evolution of the basis off design etc.) for the project evolution, making them simple and easy to put in practice for the developers. •Offers technical support to the study pilots - GFE (expertise support and validation for each project milestone) and collects the accumulated know-how into documents
- Integrates the benchmarking elements into the know-how
- Answers to the study demands from the management in order to consolidate certain action lines

Mission and objectives
In the Elementary Work Unit, the pilot coordinates the development, testing and production operations for the elements in his responsibility area, in the Quality, Cost, Time and Supplier Relation lines established for all the production sites.
In the study group - GFE the pilot:
- Organizes the group activities (meetings, livable for each project milestone, responsibilities, supplier relation management, etc.)
- Mediates between different group functions and takes the technical decisions which help reaching the targets in terms of Quality, Costs and Time (QCD)
- In case of conflict between Quality, Costs and Time objectives and the evolution of the project he/she prepares the case and submits it to the project managers
Along with the designers in his Elementary Work Unit the pilot:
- Finds the technical solutions
- Defines the testing
- Insures the evolution of the suppliers’ work
- Insures the start of the project on all production sites
- Takes part in the experience carry-over meetings in order to improve his performance
- Takes part in working groups related to the projects
- Analyses his/hers own activity and brings suggestions in order to increase productivity
SPECIALIST
Mission and objectives
- The specialist is responsible for the quality of the technical definitions came out of the basis of design
- Insures the relation with the spare parts suppliers, mainly:
- The organization, management of the meetings and meeting reports
- The control of the technical evolution of the projects
- The control of the deadlines
- Obtaining the necessary information for the quality of the project
- Coordinates the testing plan
- Coordinates solving the quality issues
- Presents the case file for mediation in the project management committees
- Insures the relation with the capitalization responsibles
- Manages the demands of the project managers in order to prioritize the transversal solutions
Elementary Work Unit MANAGER
General Job description
- Coordinates all actions in the Elementary Work Unit
- Manages the topics in his area of activity and brings suggestions for reaching the targets
- Organizes the activity in his/her unit based on a working plan and reports its evolution to the management

- Team management
- The Elementary Work Unit Manager is responsible for the human resources management of the unit. In this respect, the manager sets up and follows the training plan, manages the team with a forward-looking vision, sets up the promoting plan, based on the individual evaluations.
- Evaluates the Work Unit’s activity, implements the action plan according to the company’s objectives and coordinates the activity based on key performance indicators
- Coordinated the gathering of the information regarding the unit’s field of activity
- Analyses and communicates the investment needs for the set up of the budgets and develops the unit’s projects in the established budget lines
- Insures a good relation with the unit’s clients and suppliers
